*History: http://www.comicvine.com/molly-hayes/4005-1936/
*Personality:
Molly is the best and most powerful superhero ever and she's going to run the X-Men and the Avengers someday because that's just how awesome she is.

At least, that's what Molly likes to think.

In reality, Molly is a twelve year old with a whole lot of strength who just loves unicorns and butterflies and superheroes.

There is a level of naivety in Molly that is typical for a girl her age and adds to the overall charm that is Molly Hayes. It takes her awhile to really understand just how evil her parents are in the beginning of her adventure with the other runaways, loving her parents enough to initially just ignore that aspect of them. She questions everything, not really getting a lot of the jokes the others tell and over all just trying to act like one of the big kids even though she's got a lot of growing to do still.

In the same sense, Molly is pretty smart for her age, understanding things that one wouldn't expect her to at times and having some pretty good logic here and there. There are times where she will come up to the solution for a problem when the others are at a complete loss and she doesn't really realize how smart of her it is because it just seems like the simple solution to her. Not to say that Molly's a genius or anything, but she definitely does absorb a lot from the world around her.

Like all young kids, she has quite the temper at times but, the problem with her temper is that it's backed with super strength that she doesn't hesitate to use. Steal her game? Prepare to go through a wall. Hurt her friends? Hope you're ready to go flying sky high. She can be quite the brat at times as well, being one of the youngest members of the group and all, and it isn't uncommon for her to give others the silent treatment if they really really piss her off.

Molly is pretty quick to hero worship individuals and it can be rather heartbreaking for her to find out those that she adores are actually jerks or just not as awesome as she thought they were. She lives in that world that young kids do where everything just seems perfect but the taste of the real world that she's gotten has started to darken things for her a bit. Molly does her best to stay upbeat though and cheer up her companions whenever she can because they need to smile as well.

The other runaways are her family and she can be very protective of them. So don't mess with them or talk crap about them because she won't enjoy that. At all. And neither will you, I promise. In general, though, Molly does try to see the best in anyone that seems decent enough (it can take her awhile to completely trust someone) though she does have a pretty good sense of when someone is just a big lying jerk so watch out or you may get a swift kick into the sky.

All in all, just..don't piss her off and she'll be your best friend. Okay?

Writing Samples
*First Person Sample: Hello! If you're seeing this, I'm maybe dead. Maybe assimilated.

[The little girl is holding a a camera phone at an odd angle that might have been called the MySpace angle some time before her time. She's staring straight into the camera that is just a little too close and there's some dramatic lighting coming from below her face like she's holding a flashlight under her chin. Which she is.]

I've been abducted by alien robots! They're trying to make me into human stew to power their evil oppression machines!

[Someone has obviously seen too many horror movies or something. She's going all Blair Witch with this, though that's too old for her too, so maybe it's Cloverfield of Chronicle. Either way.]

I need a rescue, and fast. Call the Avengers or the X-Men or the Fantastic Four! Or whatever they're calling themselves today... But save me! The future of the planet Earth depends on it!

*Third Person Sample: There was no way she was going to stay in the rooms the robot oppressors provided, so Molly stalked out into the strange terrain to try to find the makings of her own home.

"Stupid..." she muttered to herself, dramatically stalking away from the temple while wrapping her arms around herself. It was cold, though she didn't want to admit it. She was a super hero. She had no weaknesses. At least that's what she wanted everyone to believe.

There were some metal slabs laying a bit away, and she trotted over to them, looking them over. Four in all, each the size of a school bus and twisted and dented a little bit. But they would do. With ease, the little girl lifted the first slab and slammed it into the ground, her eyes and hair glowing a purpleish-pink. A second was slammed into the ground, the two pieces meeting at the top in a tent shape. Then a third behind them, forming a back wall, then the fourth in front, leaving only just enough space for her to crawl through into her makeshift metal housing.

"There. I can do everything by myself. I don't need the robots. I can tear them apart." She muttered defiantly as she crawled into the dark cave of metal, curling up in the far corner. "I don't need anyone. I'm Princess Powerful. Super heroes don't cry..." But she knew she was lying.
